Give Promptloom a simple starting point. It helps turn that idea into instructions an AI can follow, with useful details and a format you can put to work.
Your starting idea
Plan a family trip
“Plan a relaxed Kyoto trip for my family.”
A short idea is enough. The generated prompt adds structure and useful detail.
→
A more useful prompt
Role You are a thoughtful family travel planner with current knowledge of Kyoto.
Goal and context Plan a relaxed Kyoto trip for a family. If trip length, dates, ages, budget, or starting location are not provided, state reasonable assumptions and clearly mark anything the family should confirm.
Plan Suggest a balanced itinerary with cultural experiences, child-friendly activities, nearby local food, realistic travel time, breaks, and one rainy-day alternative. Group nearby places together and explain briefly why each day suits a family.
Format and checks Organize the plan by day with morning, afternoon, and evening sections. Finish with practical tips and identify opening hours, prices, transit details, and booking requirements that should be verified before travel. Explain important choices in plain language and do not invent current facts.

Why Promptloom
Better instructions make room for better answers.
A little structure can help an AI understand what you mean and what a useful result should look like.
01
Turn vague into specific
Clarify the goal, audience, and point of view so your request gives the model a real direction.
02
Keep the important details
Include constraints, tone, and context up front to reduce guesswork and make the output easier to use.
03
Reuse your prompt anywhere
Copy the finished text and take it to the AI assistant or workflow you already prefer.
How it works
Three steps from idea to ready.
STEP 01
Describe what you need
Write the task in your own words. Add who it is for, what matters, and any limits to respect.
STEP 02
Choose a model and generate
Select OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Groq, DeepSeek, or Kimi. The model you choose turns your brief into clear instructions and a useful response format.
STEP 03
Copy and make it yours
Review the result, adjust your request if needed, and copy the prompt into the AI tool you want to use.
A few useful details
Frequently asked questions.
What does Promptloom do?
Promptloom helps shape a task description into a clearer, more complete prompt you can give to an AI assistant.
Which AI apps can I use?
Open the finished prompt in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity, DeepSeek, Groq Chat, Kimi, or Le Chat. Promptloom copies it first; paste it into the chat you choose.
Do I need an API key?
Yes, for prompt generation. Add the provider key to the local .env file when running locally, or to the hosted project's encrypted secrets when deployed. You can still try the built-in example without a key.
Can API usage cost money?
Gemini and Groq have free plans, but their paid account tiers can bill. OpenAI, Claude, DeepSeek, and Kimi API requests may also use paid credits or billing. Promptloom asks you to confirm the possible cost before every request.
Where does my brief and API key go?
When you generate a prompt, only the selected provider receives your brief. Keys stay server-side: in the ignored .env file for a local server, or as encrypted secrets for a hosted site. They are never returned to the browser. Destination websites receive the finished prompt only if you paste it there.
Can I open Promptloom on my phone?
Yes. When Promptloom is hosted, open its deployment URL on your phone. When using a local server, connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi, run npm run start:lan on the computer, then open the Wi-Fi address printed in the terminal. Opening the HTML file or using localhost on your phone will not connect to the computer's server.
Can I use the result with another AI tool?
Yes. Copy the finished prompt or choose one of the AI websites below it. Promptloom opens the site; you decide when to paste the prompt.
Bring an idea. Leave with a prompt.
Start with one task and make the next AI conversation more focused.
Describe your idea, choose OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Groq, DeepSeek, or Kimi, and get a detailed prompt that explains what the AI should deliver.
Checking provider connection…
To use Promptloom on a phone, connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi, run npm run start:lan on this computer, then open the Wi-Fi address printed in its terminal on the phone.
Keep API keys private in outputs/.env
Add your provider key in the ignored .env file and restart this local server. Key values are never shown in this page.
Replace the example values in outputs/.env with your own keys, save the file, then restart npm start. The app reads keys on the server and sends a request only to the model you select.
Only the selected provider receives your brief when you generate a prompt. Prompt Studio asks you to confirm before every request that may use paid credits. Destination buttons copy the finished prompt and open an AI website; you decide whether to paste it there.
